Meet Dr. Creasy

A California native, Dr. Creasy came to Austin, Texas in 1995 as a freshman on the University of Texas swimming and diving team where he won an individual Southwest Conference championship and the NCAA team championship. After receiving his B.A. in English and teaching in Los Angeles, Adam returned to Texas to pursue his Ph.D. in Educational Psychology, specializing in learning skills and motivation.

Upon completing his Ph.D. in 2006, Dr. Creasy served as an academic counselor and educational psychologist for the Texas football team. He provided guidance to numerous football student-athletes, focusing on those who struggled with psychological and academic difficulties. During his seven-year career with the football team, he was able to complete his licensure as a Psychological Associate in the state of Texas and serve as the chairman of a prestigious NCAA committee examining educational-impacting disabilities. At the same time, he worked with middle-school and high-school students, offering academic support and evaluations for learning differences through his company, EdPsyched.

After assisting hundreds of student-athletes, Dr. Creasy left the University of Texas in 2014 and served as a high school counselor and middle school principal at a private school in Austin.  During his time as a counselor and principal, Dr. Creasy continued his work at EdPsyched, providing evaluations for hundreds of students in the Austin area.

In 2021 Dr. Creasy decided to pursue his clinical practice full time, with the intention of expanding his services.  In 2024 Dr. Creasy received licensure as a psychologist in Connecticut, where he now provides evaluations throughout the state.  As an educator at heart, he will always remain connected to schools and their students, both in Texas and Connecticut.  Through his extensive work in schools, Dr. Creasy has developed and maintains a robust network of professionals for the benefit of his clients.
